PKHR is one of Gadjah Mada University Center for Study under the management of Faculty of Forestry which concern on research projects related to forestry program.

Program : Leveling Playing Field (LPF)

Program Background
To realize such information and also to support PHBM (Pengelolaan Hutan Bersama Masyarakat) or CCFM (Community Collaborative Forest Management) planning and implementating, it is needed a special studies related with issues of social economic cultural, environment and forestry technical. To do that sort of studies, therefore, the collaborative research team composed by CIFOR, CIRAD, Faculty of Forestry Gadjah Mada University and Perhutani constructed. This research team want to know the PHBM implementation process and in which way participatory process has been done properly. The LPF (Levelling Playing Field) program will facilitate local community organization so that they can enhance their capability in PHBM process. This research is financed by European Union countries (EU). The name of the research program under the coordination of CIFOR in South East Asian Countries is The Levelling Playing Field (LPF). The collaborative research in Java has approved by Perhutani, it is stated in the memory of understanding (MOU) among CIFOR, UGM, and Perhutani.

Providing assistance and facilitating the stakeholders based on PHBM/CCFM Planning, live in Randublatung site
Developing and conducting trainings and meetings as scheduled

Providing assistance in report writing

UPLink Jogja is a Non Government Organization that moves in urban poor issues. UPLink helps urban poor to organize themselves and facilitate them in order to build a better community organization. This organization will help urban poor people to sound their aspiration to the government.
